A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, nutty nutella, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, nutty notes, peanut, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle.

750ml (thx, Eric D. for picking and sending it up!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: coffee, maple syrup, some bourbon. Taste: along the same lines, vanilla is definitely overpowered by coffee and maple syrup. Overall: not happy with this one considering the cost (implied by the membership cost) and quality. Completely disappointed with Bas-Canada membership which, unfortunately, wasn't worth it for me at all considering the quality of the membership imperial stouts compared to their publicly released BA stouts.

Dark brown. The aroma has a lot of maple syrup, I love the Heaven Hill, and this is also quite nutty. Big hazelnut character, lots of bourbon, sticky sweet chocolate. Big, boozy, tasty, balanced. I'm liking this.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with a ridiculous amount of toasted hazelnuts upfront, followed by light bourbon, and a hint of cocoa -- thankfully, I don't get maple syrup. Flavour is loaded with rich roasted hazelnuts, followed by light vanilla and bourbon. Massive hazelnut bomb. This is great.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of hazelnut and bourbon with some sweet black chocolate notes is enticing. Taste is a great mix between some hazelnut notes and some light coffee notes with some sweet fudge notes and bourbon notes with some vanilla. Thick body with creamy mouthfeel and good carbonation with well hidden alcohol. Rich and decadent stout. Hazelnut notes are maybe slightly too dominant.
