Nice to see this one appear on tap, many years after - May 2026. Dark brown, hardly any highlights, a small light-beige head, leaving a few lacing lines. Roasted chocolate malt in the nose, with light Bourbon booze, hints of raisins and coconut. A wet mouthfeel, not overly thick, with good dryness in the end. Roasted barley taste with mild Bourbon, raisin notes, a touch of molasses and licorice. Quite a nice, not too thick, easier drinking Imperial Stout with the Bourbon well-blended and everything else nicely balanced.

Bottle: Poured a deep pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of fudge and bourbon notes with clear vanilla coming through. Taste is also a mix of fudge and bourbon notes with some clear vanilla notes and light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation and hints of warming alcohol notes. Solid stout with a nice mix of bourbon and vanilla and well balanced residual sugar level.

Black oily colour, no head. Aroma of dark chocolate, spirit, some vanilla. Full bodied, sweet, the cacao is strong, dark chocolate, strong alcohol, some spices (cinnamon), roasted nuts, bitter almond.

750ml (thx, Eric D. for picking this membership bottle for me!) @ Ryan's with Andrey and a gang. Appearance: very dark brown with no head. Aroma: sweet, vanilla, and bourbon. Taste: along the same lines with kinda weird notes, not sure whether it's coming from the barrel or one of the vanilla beans. Vanilla, chocolate, and bourbon aftertaste. Overall: pretty good, but it's not on the level where it should be for the membership-only bottle, considering the $230 membership cost that includes only 3 (f@ck!) bottles by default (hope it will be more in fact).

750mL bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out intense vanilla upfront, with a touch of bourbon on the underside. Flavour is full of decadent vanilla upfront, accentuated by the bourbon barrels and a little molasses. That's a lot of complex vanilla beans. The barrels perfectly accentuate the vanilla. Excellent.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, vanilla, alcohol warmth, light bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, very nice.
