Pours pretty viscously to huge mossy-brown head, lively and quite stable, over virtually black beer. Bit sweetish and obviously roasted nose. Both the coffee and cocos quite present, as well as a lot of vanilla, nearly suggesting Bourbon - or Dame Blanche . Strong, penetrating despite the sweetness. Sharpish burnt/roasted flavour turning into sweet main taste, dessert-like, and a drier, more bitterish finish. Roast, coffee, mocha, burnt coconut/copra, vanilla, overripe banana, chocolate. Very full-bodied, warming, voluptuous, not very carbonated. Sweet but good. 8/4/7/4/15

Bottle at Dan’s 10K - thanks to Mr Cocoa Banger Tipple. It pours opaque jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is crazy sweet, intense, sugary, rocky roast, chocolate, sweet coconut, bounty bar, earthy roast and coffee grounds. The taste is slick, sweet, intense, vanilla, coconut, icing sugar, sugary, burnt toffee, fudge, coffee grounds, hot alcohol and chocoalte cake. Full body, fine carboantion and slick mouth - feel. This beer had a lot to live up to, but it didn’t do so. I find it incredibly sweet and sugary. Some depth to it, but its far too much.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Nearly black. Thin, and super leggy, lasting, tan head. Nose has dark chocolate Bounty bar. Milky coffee. Warm cake fruits. Chocolate truffle. Vine fruit. Taste is sweet and chewy chocolate. Rich, vinous, dark chocolate bitterness. Mouthfeel is silky and rich. Soft carbonation. Touch of booze and rich, vinous chocolate to finish. Whoa.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is loaded with coconut upfront, followed by coffee and a touch of roast. Flavour is intensely complex, with heaps of coconut upfront, followed by lots of dry cocoa and a bit of roast. Tons of coconut and roast combine to bring out a deep complexity. Excellent.

Bottle split at the Osprey 10K tasting, CBC Islington, thanks to Tipple 21/03/18. Black with a tan head. Nose is sweet malts, chocoalte melt, light spice, dried fruits, mellow coffee grinds, charr. Taste comprises coffee grinds, sweet and sour elements, bitter roast, chocolate chips, black peppery spice, molasses, toffee fudge, coconut. Full bodied, fine oily mouth, sweet warming close. Solid impy ... would just like the sweetness toned down a touch.

Bottle shared at Daniel Osprey 10K tasting. 21/03/2018. Many thanks! A thick borwn coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is sweet peanut butter, sun tan lotion. Flavoiur is composed of oily sun tan lotion, chocolate bounty bar. Flavour is compose . Sweet cocco. Ccoconut butter. Palate is thick and creamy, oily, moderate carbonation.

Botttle shared in London - thanks to Tipple. Pours oily brown, tan foam head. Big and pretty sweet, lots of sugary chocolate, booze, oily vanilla, moderate roast. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, brownies, baking cocoa, dark fruits. Great stuff.
