0,473l can at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. No date. black color, small dark coffee colored head. smells bit boozy, soy sauce, marzipan, nutty, bitter chocolate, very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes of soy sauce, nutty, bitter chocolate, earthy, vanilla, peppery. finishes rather bitter with notes of soy sauce, peppery and spicy notes. good stuff, not super bourbon forward, bit too soyish. 8, 4, 7, 3, 16

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 23/06/18. Many thanks! An oily dark black brown coloured pour with a hal of tan head. Aroma is big vanilla oak, cinnamon, creay brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy, rounded vanilla, cinnamon spicy, warming alcohol, solvent. Palate is oily, full bodied, slick, moderate carboantion. Good.

On tap at Mikkeller San Diego, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with intense bourbon barrels, lots of alcohol, and some cocoa. Flavour is beyond intense, with cocoa, bourbon, alcohol and vanilla. Rather abrasive and jagged, with not the smoothest cohesion of flavours. Decent but needs a bit of work.

Can. Pours opaque black, small tan head, dissipated fairly quickly with good lacing. Aroma is cocoa, roast, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet, super rich, desert, decadent. Full cranny thick body. Grate.

Bottle share @ Hanson's, thanks Gregg. Deep dark pour, super high viscosity, flows visibly slow and no carbonation there. Nose has peat, some chocolate and boozy leather. Tastes boozy thick and with some spices. Mix of liquid chocolate and molasses. Barrel character quite strong, spirits there for sure. Bitterness edging on booze and light whiskey glow in the finish. Nice but kinda heavy.

Burk från Mikkeller Beer Club:
Svart med medelstort, brunt skum. Doft av Bourbon, soja, lakrits och vaniljrån. Fyllig smak av lakrits, Bourbon, choklad och soja. Värmande finish.
Aningen spritig men god ändå.

(On tap @ Mikkeller Viktoriagade, Oct 27/18) Pours black with a tiny head. Notes of chocolate milk powder, cacao, roasty malt, moderate coffee, earth, vanilla, some bourbon, burnt wood, ash, quite sweet up front but the burnt, ashy notes and fairly high coffee/cacao bitterness dry things out rather substantially through the finish and into the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, slightly below average carbonation, touch of booze heat. Quite good but lacks the serious richness of the original Mikkeller/Lervig Cocoa Shake, feeling more like a big earthy ashy stout.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2018 - cheers all! Pours oily black-brown with a foamy beige head. The nose is all ash and well roasted malts. Medium sweet flavour with notes of gooey chocolate, alcohol, scorched earth. Full bodied, somewhat chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with further oily chocolate character, alcohol, bitter ash, raisins. Good stuff.
