Bottle shared at Cotteridge get together. Sweet edged coffee and berry aroma. Jet black. Creamy beige head. Warming booze, berries and chocolate. Thick. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Lovely stuff.

23rd June 2018; Cotteridge gathering, shared bottle. Intense stuff this. Tanned foam on a black body. Chocolate comes through loud and clear along with some Bourbon notes, nice alcohol kick in there too. Very drinkable.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Pitch black with a well presented tan head. Nose is chocolate, bourbon rip, brown sugar, booze tunes, light charr, spice. Taste comprises toffee, chochocolate, light black peppery spice, dried fruits, hint of coffee, bourbonics. Full bodied , fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising but balanced boost. Solid impy.

Had this at the Ratebeer Tasting and Cotteridge Gathering, Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, Saturday 23rd June 2018. Beer number twelve. Pretty much black with a slim tan head. A touch boozy, plenty of chocolate, but very, very drinkable and up there with the Cloudwater Imperial Chocolate Speyside thing I just had as another corking Imperial Stout. A7 A4 T8 P5 Ov16 4.0
