330ml bottle. Pours almost black with a thick tan head, long lasting. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roast malts. Taste is rich, sweet, coffee, chocolate, caramel, roast malts, some dark fruit, strong roasty coffee bitterness. Full bodied, thick, smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Lovely imperial porter, more chocolatey than I expected.

Black beer, thick beige head. Aroma is all coffee and malt and the taste is much the same. A hint of fruit and some dark chocolate, this is all dry, bitter, rich, earthy goodness. I'm in love.

Tap at Craft Room. Pitch black body with a tiny creamy grey-tan head with good retention. Smooth coffee aroma, really nice, with a fruity touch backed by solid maltiness. A shitton of coffee in the taste, edged with some dark chocolate, sweetish, with a nice malty touch, ending bitterish (coffee-like). Liiiight notes of alcohol. A classic strong coffee porter without major issues. Excellent.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours black with a lasting, creamy beige head. The aroma has a lot of ashy roast, well toasted coffee, dry cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with more drying ash, bittersweet chocolate, dirt, scorched earth, strong bitter coffee, espresso. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Moderately warming in the finish, with some sticky burnt sugars, more ashy dryness, bitter baking cocoa, more torched earth, wood, bitter coffee. Quite sturdy. Good fun.
