Backlog. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head, slightly lacing. Aroma is citrus, some slight acidity, tart berries and wood with some mild spiciness to it too. Flavour is floral, some citrus, mild acidity, tart wood and berries with an evident Brandy stinging sweetness popping through.

Vintage 2017. Dark amber body, with a medium, creamy, beige head. Aroma of brandy, grapes, citrus. Tastes similar. Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes warm, fruity, citric, with brandy. Nice, while not outstanding. The brandy is quite dominant, with quite some alcohol noticable. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
