Light haze on this paleish yellow - gold beer, big fluffy white head. Thin malts. A mild lemon sherbert - seltzer. Light floralness. More light lemon on the dry finish. Not exactly a hop fest is it?

Bottle drunk 4/27/17.
Plentiful haziness in this soft-hued golden beer with light maize tints. Off-white head fades quickly.
Not all that juicy in the nose and actually rather musty, farmy, funky with moderate sulfur and a good deal of pepper phenols giving it a strong saison-like chatacter. Light, dainty Brett adds bits of lime and other "tart" acidic notes that help cut through the cereal grain and lightly doughy yeastiness. No alcohol, flaw or much in the way of mango. It’s obviously been fully fermented out, which is fine. Not much in the way of hops either; just light, albeit pleasant, pepper, herbs and light greenery.
Quite soft and malty though very dry. Low but engaging carbonation keeps the beer on the lighter side as well. Cereal grains add a strong backbone as pepper, lightly spicy hops and mild bitterness attempt to balance. Little no mango though there is a deep fruitiness to the beer which seems to be mainly esters though Im sure is slightly amplified by the mango. Certainly nowhere near as apparent as the pineapple version, though. Still, it works nicely as a mixed ferm saison of sorts and manages only a light tartness with tons of malt and Sacch character. Warming and breathing really helps. This one takes some work but really comes around nicely.

Pours hazy pear into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Clean mango aromas. Dry with marshmallows and aspirin upfront turning to sharp mild mango and passionfruit in the medium length finish.

Keg at the Blind Tiger - NYC. Pours hazy gold with pretty much no head. The nose has hints of tangy citrus, mango, melon, pale malts. Light-medium sweet flavor with subtly gooey mango fruits, apricot, tangerine, very faint brett must. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Pretty nicely balanced on the finish, with nips of pulpy mango, ripening citrus, pale bread, minimal bitterness. A fun concept beer that’s well executed.
