Bottle shared at CBJ - picked up from the brewery. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. Light sweet flavour with nice juicy citrus, low acidity, slight barrel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Well balanced finish, a little tartness, rounded citrus. Impressive.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A hazed peachy orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is floral, white grape, peach, mellow funk, flory apple. Flavour is composed of tangy apple, peach, nectarine, apricot, light funk. Palate is light tang, light tannin, moderate. Carbonation.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to LKS. Pretty much a clear pale gold beer, small and short lived white head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Floral but mildly tart fruits. Slightly tart white wine. Quite a light but smooth pale malt base underneath. Light and semi dry finish. Tidy.

750mL bottle generously shared by TJ on 5/28/17.
Pale-golden with some deeper maize/brass hues. Good clarity, leaving the sediment behind, and a white head atop showing moderate to moderately-low retention.
A one-two-punch of fruity, lively, tart Brett and pear-lime-mineral-heavy white wine rises up immediately and aromatically in the nose. Big, round, juicy fruits up front are in turn dried out by wood, oak and yeast-derived acidity. I quite like how well the Brett cuts through even the white wine, adding more tartness and "dryness" to the nose. No alcohol or flaw, though the oak does creep back in on the end, while strong notes of rich honey and sweetbread persist.
Rich and fruity in the mouth, with guava, nectarine, papaya, pear, peach and lime all in some form or another as Brett acids mix with white wine and light oak. Wood tannins contribute some dryness and the beer isn’t incredibly sweet, but it’s still on the sweeter side, for a saison. White and yellow fruits persist to the finish as tart Brett and acidic, lightly Chardonnay-like wine notes build up on the palate, quite heavily. Texture is malty, tannic and soft, with low but tight carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Could use a bit more dryness and less intense fruitiness. The Brett and white wine really end up dominating as the beer wears on. But the flavors themselves are clear and very enjoyable, despite being somewhat heavy-handed.

750 ml thanks to Chalumeaux. Slightly hazy orange color. Aroma is mild funk, sour grape juice, over ripe fruits.

The barrel has become slightly more forward over the time it has sat. Mild funky grain and old fruits. The oak doesn’t show signs of vinegar as so many of other Night Shift barrel beers can tend to show. Still, not really a huge fan on this brew.
