Can to tulip.
Appearance: bronzed amber to ruddy orange color with a two finger white foamy head dissipating finely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: tropical fruity sweet hoppiness, grassy hops, subtle cracker malts
Flavor: sweet through the hops, nice balance of the malts; nice aftertaste of the tropical fruity hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, good sipper, clean tropical fruity finish
Overall: very nicely done DIPA

Tap. Farmhouse Tap and Grill, Burlington, Vermont. Soupy gold. Fully lacing, oily head. Nose has super fruity, thick, pulped citrus. Fresh herbal hop. Creamy malt. Some ripe berry. Touch of pepper spice. Taste is juicy sweet, with a soft pepper bitterness. Creamy on the palate. Fine carbonation. Juicy bitter finish. Delicious.

Canned 3/14, drunk 4/4/18.
Light amber, surprisingly clear yet tons of sediment in the bottom. White head fades quickly to a ring.
Tangy pineapple, a bit of bread, light caramel and a ton of citrus. I'm with them on the citrus and pineapple, but not sure why all of the specialty malt character is in this. Definitely detracts, in my opinion.
Light and dry in the mouth, but some good juiciness saves the day, as it's sharp and resinous at points. Kind of loose carbonation creating some wateriness. The texture could be softer, as well.

16 oz. can (split 2 ways), purchased Hunger Mountain CO OP. Canning date of 3-15-2018. Ugly looking protein and large sediment particles floating around the brew. No matter, the flavor is what matters. Flavor shows slightly juicy citrus, floral, mild dank herbal hops. Body and texture feels lighter than the 8%. Real nice drinker! I would sample on draft if given the chance. 4 pack of cans was purchased cold.
