Bottle. Clear amber body with a god looking, dense, beige head. Not much aroma, just some caramel malt. Flavor is quite plain caramel malt, low bitterness and not much more. A bit boring.

Light brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of toffee, with nuts and a hint of milk chocolate. Sweetish malty flavour with a touch of warm alcohol to balance out the finish. An excellent light Bock

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, cloudy amber with a beige head. Strict Lager aroma, burned caramel, nuts and a subtle sulphur. Rich, solid, muscly body with potent malts and a decent hop bite. Not the world’s most sophisticated Bock, but solid and straightforward. 221219

Shared 500 ml bottle, ABV 6%. From Holtes Vinlager, Skagen. Reddish colour, dark amber if you like. Moderate off-white head. Nice malty aroma and flavour , notes of caramel and brown bread.

Endelig er det tid for RBHD-møte, denne gangen ombord på Fridtjofen, og vi er nå halvveis i kveldens behandling av diagnosen (Repetitive Beer Hunting Disorder): klar rødlig kobber med fint skum som varer. Deilig aroma og smak med røde bær, karameller, urter, brød og hint av rød grapefrukt. Saftig og god med røde bær i den lange ettersmaken. Verdt et gjensyn.

Shared bottle a RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 30.11.19. Chestnut amber. Beige head. Aroma and taaste of sweet medium roasted malt, dried fruit, dried berries, rye bread and dark syrup. Very good!
