Althea is a modern American Pale Ale. Unlike many pale ales, Althea is low on bitterness, yet massively hoppy on the aroma. Althea is a beer that can be enjoyed by the pint or by the glass!

Realized that despite visiting a Galway bar last visit never had any of their beers. Hazy orange gold. Nose is light grapefruit and hint of caramel. Taste of orange pith, grapefruit, caramel, malt, some forest. Medium bodied and bitterness.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Golden with a dry hoppy taste, and a crisp enough texture.

Borefts IX. Day 1. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Smooth light palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Thin sweetish malts, a little cream. Decent citrus, slighty limey accompanied by mild tropical fruits. Smooth finish. Nice, well flavoured sipa.
