Bottle. A- Bourbon, luxurious melted dark chocolate, subtle oak, subtle vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, no head. T- Bourbon, dark chocolate, faintest bitterness, mild oak. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Not usually I'd pay $65 for a 13 oz bottle but for a special occasion, well worth it. This was outstanding and glad to try a BBT for the first time. This had rich yet not sweet notes of the finest liquid dark chocolate you can imagine with a pleasant and rounded bourbon aroma and taste. There is some vanilla and oak and perhaps dark fruits like warm prunes but it's so intertwined you really don't have a need to pick out flavors, just enjoy the complexity of this fantastic stout.

375ml bottle huge thanks to Billy. It pours opaque motor oil black with no head. The aroma is rich and unctuous, oily, sticky, vanilla, toffee crisp, intoxicating pappy bourbon vibes, whisky soaked oak, toasty, charred, roasty, umami, bitter - sweet, toasted coconut and some Asian cooking vibes. The taste is slick, oily, sticky, unctuous, bitter - sweet, umami, liquorice, fat, filthy, toffee, dark chocolate, cacao, sacher torte, massive wood, booze soaked wood, toasted spice, nutmeg, deep bourbon vibes, warming booze but not overly sweet, fudge, mellow vanilla, mellow booze, dried fruits and just loads of dark decadent chocolate. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Love it. So rich and decadent, but too sweet. Lives up to the hype.

375mL bottle at the Cellar, 3/28/23. Dark. No head. Oxidation, soft salty bourbon. Infinitely rich yet easygoing. Rich, so God damned refined and easygoing. No alcohol even after extended breathing. Smells like an 8% stout. Soft, delicate, lighter in body, relatively speaking. Hint of thick viscosity. But great balance, great attenuation. Pepper, salt, char, cherry, vanilla, rich, rich, easygoing bourbon. Wow, that's frickin jaw-droppingly stunning.

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head leaving spotty lacing and nice legs. The aroma is strong bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, prune, licorice. Slick body, dark chocolate, prune, oak, bourbon is on point, impressive.
