Botella 33 cl en la bache folle. Burgos 06..09..2018. (r11). Fcpref 31..10..2018. Suave amargo seco final. Buena.

Bottle from Squires Garden Centre, Shepperton. Creamy coffee and liquorice aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. Shrinks somewhat. Light-medium bitter. Coffee, chicory, liquorice, creamy elements and aniseed. A whisky burn into the finish. However it's rather muted. Thick bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent but not the most exciting impy stout. To be fair, it grew on me as I drank more.

42nd floor beer share. Almost opaque dark amber - brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth dark malts, a little thin but with some creamy sweetness. Spicy esters which carry through to the finish. Mmm, not sure that the oak barreling has done much for this beer, just made it estery. Would like to try a Bourbon BA treatment.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenwise. Pours clear, deep brown with a small, tan head. The nose holds rich, toasted toffee, leathery dark fruits, faint earth. Medium sweet flavour, fairly well rounded, with some boozy boost, dried berries, earth, vanilla. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with more leathery berries, earth, alcohol, toffee, toasted coconut. Nice stuff, though it doesn’t have a lot of depth.
