Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. It pours lightly hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, tangerine, kumquat, tangy orange marmalade, pine needles, touch of greenness and hay. The taste is crisp, dry, firm bitterness, plenty of zingy orange citrus, tangerine, pithy, zesty, pine needles, lemonade, grassy, light spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded, fresh and quaffable. Solid stuff.

Taste: pretty bitter from the start, fruity bit sweet, malty, some tropical fruits, citrus, passion fruit. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, some grapefruit, bit medicinal bitterness, citrus, dry, resinous finish.

Bottle at home split with Sarah. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky white froth. Aroma is simple base malts, with nice sweet floral notes, white grape, lychee, honeysuckle and a hint of elderflower. Flavour is composed of semi sweet base malts, light biscuit, tangy green berries, floral, tangerine, light pollen. Nice delicate hop. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation. semi drying finish. Nice stuff.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of bergamot, herbs and orange peel. Flavour of flower petals, parma violets and lime chutney. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Subtle and refreshing. I think this is my first Kernel beer in ages.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at End of the Road Festival, Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset/Wilts border, Sunday 3rd September 2017 Sweet'ish' from the off, leans towards tropical fruit, but there is quite a bitter linger on this, despite that initial sweet flurry it even manages to finish a little dry. Enjoyable beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, mild sweetness. Spicy bitter hops, orangey citrus underneath. Grapefruit and mild pine. Very mellow hop skunk. Trace of tropical fruits. Light bitter spicy finish. Hmm! Another Kernel with a notably bitter - spicy kick, quite sharp edged but satisfyingly so.
