Bottle as present. Almost clear, dark golden body with a big, dense off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain and rye. Flavor is sweet malt, grain, rye bread, hint of caramel and moderate fruity bitterness. Balanced body and a bit sweet, malty aftertaste. Decent but a bit one-dimensional after a while.

500 ml bottle, from Fakta Hjørring. ABV is 6.0%, hop is First Gold. Malts are Gyrups Pale, Munich, Smoked and of course Rye. Slightly hazy reddish amber colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of malts, grain and rye bread, hints of caramel and mild spices. The flavour is malty but not sweet, with a nice fruitiness and spiciness, probably mostly from the rye. Moderate fruity and earthy hops. Highly drinkable.
