Can. A Xmas gift from the missus. Soft haze on a medium gold. Slim sticky lasting white foam. Nose has fruity light spicy light herbal character on top of clean bready malt. Taste is semi sweet with moderate bitterness and a faint tingle of spice from, presumably, the ginger. The juniper and orange zest are noticeable but subtle. Light spicy bitter finish. Nice one. Comes together really well.

440 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 4.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of orange zest, ginger and juniper, hints of blackcurrant leaves. Fruity and spicy flavour with the same elements, distinct orange zest. Moderate bittering hops in the finish.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden amber with minimal off-white head and good lacing. Thereโs tangerines in the aroma plus hints of herbs and floral hops. In the mouth it is juicy and slightly bitter but with some underlying spiciness. Flavour has floral hops, oranges and hints of ginger. Later on some tonic water notes come through as well leading to a herbal and slightly bitter finish. This is decent โ the spice element is not overdone.

Can @Beershoppe (Rome). Dorata, mediamente torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note di malto, erbacee e agrumate, spezie (ginepro, zenzero). In bocca รจ morbida, con speziatura leggera e amaro corretto. Corpo leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ok, ma non รจ il genere di birra che fa per me
