Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden amber with minimal off-white head and good lacing. There’s tangerines in the aroma plus hints of herbs and floral hops. In the mouth it is juicy and slightly bitter but with some underlying spiciness. Flavour has floral hops, oranges and hints of ginger. Later on some tonic water notes come through as well leading to a herbal and slightly bitter finish. This is decent – the spice element is not overdone.
