christmas biscuits in a glass, weird but kind of nice.
slight haze dark amber-brown
A - cinnamon, christmas spices
F - cinnamon christmas spices and caramel
It would make a good desert, not sure I'd want more than one though

Can from Beer52. Pours a copper brown with foamy beige head. Aroma of that cinnamon biscuit dominates with a malty background. Taste has cinnamon, biscuit, wood, Parma violets. Quite sweet with a modest bitterness. Medium bodied, semi-drying, fine carbonation. Unusual.

Can from my daughter. Dark brown with a large frothy head. Aroma intense soft fruits. Flavour is a mix of fruit and a bit of solvent. Fairly intense flavours but it’s hard to describe what they actually are

Can from Beer52. Clear deep amber body with a thick beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried apricot, tinned peach and candy. Flavour of sour orange, plastic and caramel. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This looks great but it tastes way off. Something has gone wrong with this one.

330 ml online from Beer52, Edinburgh. Pours clear amber copper with beige foam. Aroma: very sweet, aniseed, biscuit, slight root beer vibes. Taste: moderate sweet with lighter bitterness, caramel, quite heavy spices, somewhat overpowering. Medium body with soft carbonation. Odd one.

[33cl can from Beer52.] An attractive bronze coloured pour with a tight cream coloured head; aroma of caramel biscuits of the Lotus variety; rather sweet in the mouth with a matching taste; then a sticky but drier finish with a little spice.

0.33 l can, Beer 52 package, thanks to Višnja 666 who brought it from London, shared with Ade McSquid and Višnja 666. Clear reddish brown, small off-white head. Aroma is intensely spicy, anise, cinnamon, maple syrup, some caramel and brown bread underneath. Too intense. Dry, spicy, tart. Dried fruit, raisins, winter tea with spices, sweetness. Soft bitterness, light finish.

Can, 5.2% from Beer52. It pours clear ruby with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet and intoxicating, festive spice, toffee, butterscotch, brown bread, biscuit, golden grahams, molasses, vanilla and bubblegum. The taste is bitter - sweet, bubblegum character upfront, toasty brown sugars, toffee, earthy, nutty, cereal, malt loaf, date, cheap supermarket cola, bruised banana, apple crumble and plenty of festive spice with a drying, bitter, almost acrid finish. Average body and fine carbonation. A bit artificial, party on the aroma. The taste is also a mixed bag. Not my kinda beer.

330ml can via Beer52, this is brewed and canned in the EU and is only 5.2% ABV, no brewery mentioned on the can: BB 14th November 2024, drank at home on 6th January 2024. Red hue to the clear light brown body, tanned crust. Huge amount of cinnamon in the nose and taste, toffee apple, apple pie like flavours, sweet and interesting, would love to try the proper version at 8% ABV.

Reduced 5.2% for the UK import version. Foamy off white head left a froth on a reddish brown still body. Floral, woody & herbal aroma. Medium to full, smooth & soft with a cloying back. Herbal, floral, perfume, woody & Parma Violets tastes. Interesting - Nice one.
