Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grains, crisp maltiness along with some alcohol, ripe fruits and quite strong on nectary notes. Flavour is having pretty much the same elements, but the alcohol shows really well. OK, apart from the boozy side of it.

On tap at Zagreb Craft Beer Week. Hazy golden, huge white head. Marmalade, apricot, ripe fruit, not too heavy caramel, quite sweet. Very smooth. Juicy, low bitterness. Medium+ bodied. Interesting one.

Tap at Craft Room. Hazy amber body, tiny white head. Huge orange aroma, hoppy, ending a bit dry. Creamy orange candy taste,s weetish and perfumey even, quite nice, ending with a herbal bitter hoppy note. Alcohol is present, of course, warming, but, though strong, it didn't phase me. Basically, this is clementine liqueur in beer form. And I dug it a lot.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Murky dark golden, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, very spicy. Alcohol present in the nose, but hidden in flavour. Full body.

Bottle from Drunk Dry, Kidlington, Oxon, consumed at home Friday 13th January 2017 whilst cooking Lilli chatni anna murghi kari (but with lamb instead) Pours reddy/amber, hazy. There is a large foamy white/off-white head, cheesey hop nose. Big warmth from the alcohol but far from harsh. Almost like a Barley Wine/TIPA combo’. After a while you start to pick up on everything this beer has to offer, I say after a while as I am just loving this whilst cooking away. I just love swishing this around my mouth, it’s bittersweet, warming, lovely beer, Loz loves it, I love it. On reflection I haven’t really said much about this beer other than its lovely, but sometimes that’s enough. Mmhh.... Lovely A7 A4 T9 P5 Ov17 4.3

Bottle at home, bottled June ’16 Batch 0320, my Juan hyndredth WB rake ... 3rd person to hit this goal after Mad Mitch and Rich the Villain, 03/12/16. Rich clouded amber with a well appointed cream cap that stays for the show. Nose carries Sorachi notes, caramel, sweet malts, pine, orange peel, sticky tropical punch. Taste comprises an alcoholic kick, caramel malt, orange peel, mineral notes, dusty hops, Sorachi eveident but not overpowering. Medium + body, well pitched masaging carbonation to drive this high boost number home, well integrated hop bitterness with a warming alcohol finale. Decent for the ABV, Sorachi isn’t OTT and comes together well.

660ml Bottle at home shared with the Beast, 11th November 16. Pours a dark amber, viscous. Aroma is full on sorachi, caramel, malts. Taste is bitter, caramel, really complex, pith, hops, loads of Sorachi, sweet, candy, but not too much, ABV doesn’t feature. Great stuff

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Brixton, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a lingering medium white head on top. Sweet, hoppy, tropical fruit, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, sweet, hoppy, tropical fruit, caramel, orange, lovely sorachi hop. This is the best that I have had from Weird Beard, would really like to try it from the bottle.

Draft @ BBP Good Beer Feast 2016.
