This Vermont-centered pale lager was brewed with Vermont-grown barley, malted by Valley Malt, and hopped solely with Nugget and Cascade hops grown by Champlain Valley Hops. Naturally carbonated and lagered for more than 10 weeks, we believe that this beer emphatically demonstrates the possibilities of a localized agricultural community.

Can pour shared by ClarkVV. Clear pale yellow with light sparkle and ring of head. Aroma is strong pale (pilsner-y) malt and mildly fruity, mostly bitter hops. Taste is sweet/tart fruit over pale malts. Smooth, somewhat watery texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Well crafted with good strength--don't love the malts.

16 oz can, thanks ClarkVV on the share! Clear golden appearance. Aroma is typical lager yeast, cracker malt. Flavor is a direct reflection with a note of mineral and herb. Nicely clean finish. Well made for the style.

Canned 4/23/24, drunk 5/26-5/30/24. Clear, bright brass-bronze. Small, off-white head. Modest retention. Lovely herbal character with biscuit and very light honey-like malt. Maybe even a touch of floral and/or pine character, but very gentle. Clean. Malty, extremely herbal, with fresh cut grass and lots of biscuit and minerality. Easy drinking, with a soft texture and good malt character. Nice and dry. Lingering yeast and mineral with more freshly cut grass and herbaceous notes. This must be absolutely insane on draught.

Can from the brewery. It pours clear golden - blonde with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, floral, nip of pine, twist of lemon-line citrus, cracker and biscuit. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, spicy vibes, fragrant, floral, some grass, pine needles, pithy lemon, grain husks, some minerality, biscuit and oatcakes with a dry, almost nutty finish. Average body and foamy carbonation. Crispy and quaffable. Quite soft and fluffy. Decent.

Can thanks to Jason. Pours a pale golden with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is grass, mineral, cereal malt. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, light, clean, very nice.

Pours slightly hazed pale dark yellow into a willi. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Hay and grass aromas. Crisp with earthy toasted multigrain, straw and pine front to back and into the extended pine finish.
