Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours cloudy amber – brown with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, bready, biscuit, stone fruits, apricot, persimmon, hay and cereal. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, biscuity malts, tangy, zesty, orange rind, hay, wood and herbal accents. Light – medium body and average carbonation. Needs a bit more punch. Comes across as a fairly ho hum bitter.
