This dry-hopped Pilsner features spelt from Thrall Family Malt in Windsor, CT, and a new hop varietal called Vista (added in the late boil and dry hop). Notes of grapefruit, citrus and light melon abound. Spunded for natural carbonation and lagered horizontally for conditioning and clarity.

16oz can pours a clear hold, cloudy white head. Nice nose, continental hops, herbal, grass, peppery even, light grist. Flavor follows, good tannic character too, lemony and herbal hops, green and grassy, some malt and sweet dough. Tight, crisp finish.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: clear yellow color with a two fingers worth of white foamy head which dissipated to leave some light spotty lace
Aroma: light melon/crisp freshly cut grass with floral to herbal hoppiness, delicate malt backbone
Flavor: melon/crackery to white bread malty tones take the lead, then some herbal/floral hops taking a backseat, barely any aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable, somewhat oily along my tongue; finishes semi-grassy and slick
Overall: I like this beer. I believe the use of Vista hops were used superbly!

16 oz can. Thanks to willrunforbeer! Aroma is lightly pils malt. Honey-ish with fresh cut grass. Flavor has a decent amount of honey malt and baked bread. Bitterness is low with a nicely crisp texture over the mouth. Nice refreshing quality about it.

Pours slightly hazed yellow gold into a willi. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet biscuit and hay aromas. Crisp with sweet citrus and hay upfront turning to earthy straw and pine in the medium length finish.

Draught at the brewery, 10/3/24. Clear blonde. Small, slightly creamy, white head, slowly to partial cover. A very bright, peppy, peppery nose with a good deal of citrus and a solid backing of biscuit and dough. Clean and clear, with no aggressive notes, just bright, dainty hop. In the mouth it's malty, well-attenuated, clean. Not over-hopped. Pepper, citrus, biscuit...mellow but with bright hops.
