Slumbering in the nourishing nest of a fresh, unrinsed Burgundy red wine barrel, Gyle 100 inhales deeply on the rich red fruit notes and woody complexity, with drying, lasting tannins.

Keg at BBNo during the 3rd birthday celebration. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy beige head, the aroma has some berries, burnt wood, mild cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavor, some baking cocoa, jammy berries, bitter chocolate. Medium to full bodied with fine carboantion. Lightly warming on the finish, further baking cocoa, dried berries, slight raisins. Nice one.

Keg at BBNO. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The nose is rich, bitter-sweet, vinous, fruity, berry compote, red wine vinegar, toasty, creaminess and light vanilla. The taste is quite bitter, decent acidity, rich roast, alcohol warmth, umami, fruit compote, red grape skin and tannins with a dry finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. A touch rough around the edges, but nice jammy fruit character.
