Pours gold with creamy foam. Malt aroma slightly syrupy with a metallic accent. Dry in taste with light maltiness and aftertaste of mineral water. The finish is slightly metallic, mineral and twiggy, generally unpleasant.

440ml can picked up in Hastings. Pale straw with a thin white head; a faint waft of German hops; oily texture with a sweet grainy flavour; and a touch of damp cardboard to finish. Not at all pleasant.

Can from a Costcutter in Penzance. Pours gold with a creamy/fizzy white head. Aroma is fruit over corn - almost grapey. White grape. Nicely bitter, but quite bready. Drinkable. The finish is just a hint metallic.

500ml can from a corner shop on the way home from work. Pale gold in colour with thick near white head. Mostly cereal on the aroma. It’s a blandish lager. Not horrible. Some vague odd tangerine flavour. No real hop presence. Little bit or orange/lemon on finish. No real bitterness. It’s not hideous. No real bad flavours like newspaper or wet dog or boiled vegetable. So it holds up ok. Just not very interesting anywhere. Just a touch of puke.
