Can picked up from Morrisons, Harwich, and consumed at home January 2026 watching Tales from The Loop on Amazon Prime. We had Burmese Meatballs for tea tonight. Pours black, with a small beige head. Aroma is big on chocolate and chocolate cookies or brownies and chocolate sponge cake, definitely cake on both the nose and in the mouth, it's a one trick pony but tbf it wasn't trying to be anything else. Score 7.0

Appearance is very dark, with a half-finger beige fizzy head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, dark malts, fudge, brownie. Taste is lots of chocolate, brownie, dark malts, vanilla hints, coffee, earthy dark malt, more brownie. Very chocolatey, not too sweet though.

Can at Kessingland chalet picked up from Morrisons. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasti g khaki head. Aroma is semi sweet, creamy chocolate sponge, brownie, light tangy dark chocolate. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, chocolate, cake dough, some spicy Jamaica cake. Palate is medium sweet, spicy, oily, moderate carbonation. Not bad. Spicy

440ml can. Pours black with a beige head. Aromas & tastes of chocolate, dark cocoa & rich malt. Medium to full body. Sweet light bitter finish. Unique but I'm not a lover of chocolate enough to appreciate this fully.

440ml can from Morrisons - Opage black body with a firm tan head, very inviting. Lots of chocolate in the nose, very cakey, chocolate fudge cake with all the trimmings. Taste follows through, not too sweet, chocolate dominates everything, but that's what it says on the tin. Lush.

Can from Morrisons; opaque brown pour with a creamy tan head, aroma has chocolate and freshly baked cookies, taste has rich chocolate, almost brownie like, it’s pretty much all chocolate cake but delightful, quality supermarket beverage --- Beer merged from original tick of BERTHA // GET BAKED // THE WORLD FAMOUS CHOCOLATE CAKE STOUT on 26 Jan 2025 at 15:29 - Score: 8. Chocolate based stout, fairly rich for it, and a little more stated in its taste than aroma. Its strength is noticeable, but not particularly impactful. Supermarket bought.

Can from Morrisons and the first native Brewver review. Nose is chocolate, fudge, vanilla, marshmallow, faint sub note of licorice. Taste is chocolate, fudge, hint of vanilla, sweet, a little fruity, roast, faint herbal in the drier than expected finish.
It's Ok, and not as cloying as the nose suggests

440ml can from Morrisons. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting, frothy off-white head. The aroma is chocolate, roasty malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a silky smooth, rich, roasty, herbal, light fizzy sherbet, light boozy, liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
