(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 21 Nov 2024) Dark amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of toast, roasted cereal, bread and prunes. Malty taste with toast, caramel, roasted malt and a mild roasty bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Harmonious and well made mild. Nice one.

Gravity cask at Pig’s Ear 2024 - Hackney. Pours clear copper with a sturdy, frothy off-white head. Lovely bready malt character, a little caramel, soft bitterness, a little earth and biscuit. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, restrained toasty malty sweetness. Sound.

Cask at Pig's Ear. Clear amber beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, a little thin but delivering decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, a little watery toffee. Thin watery ripe fruits. Light finish. Easy drinking but it's apologetic in the flavour department.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 13th November 2024. Deep reddish brown with shallow, dull foam affording full lacing. Malty aroma. Nutty maltiness in-mouth with sweet berry fruits coming and going. A fruity aroma with some leafy hops and maltiness. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
