The great ChrisO pre GBBF gathering. Hazy red - amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry. Malts are caramelly and a little oxidised tasting. Some ripe citrus and hop spice. Mild grapefruit. A little messy really but okay.

Bomber from Nugget Market, Woodland, CA - label says brewed in Portland, ME. Pours translucent dark copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is quite mixedly hoppy. A little caramel under that. Med + body. Flavor is citrus/pine - juicy/dank - with some slightly roasted caramel support. Mild spicy? hop burn. Very good stuff, flavor wise. Finishes bitter, with a touch of sugar.

Draft: Poured a dark copper to brown with orange edges, head was creamy off white to tan. Aroma was nice big hops. Taste was hoppy gritty forward but tapered off into a soft toffee malt finish.
