A modern take on a blonde ale in association with our local football club Huddersfield Town. A satisfyingly smooth body along with whole leaf Cascade and fruity Mandarina Bavaria and Centennial T-90 hops make for a deliciously refreshing and moreish pre or post game pint (or three). The magical name pays tribute to the clubs historic hat-trick of league titles.

Cask at the Head of Steam, Sheffield. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, malt, light gluey yeast, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Not a lot going on flavour-wise and very light.

Cask, half-pint, shared with Holmen2 and Finn at Port Street Beer House. Bubbly white head, cloudy golden body, spotty lacing. Floral nose with a touch of lemon. Oily hops and citrus to the taste buds followed by leafy hop bitterness at the ending. Refreshingly moreish. (Manchester 25.01.2020).

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 25 Nov 2018) Amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, toast and apricots. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, apricots, orange peel, toast and a balanced citric bitterness. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

Cask-conditioned at the King Street Brewhouse, Bristol, 24/8/2018. Amber in colour with a moderately-sized, white, head. A pleasant bitter, with plenty of hop character to enhance the solid malt base. Finish was moderately bitter. Good.

Cask at the Prince Rupert, Newark. Tawny brown, clear with no head. Woody aroma with resinous hops in the aroma. The taste is well-balanced with the sweetness of the malt foiled by the light earthy hop notes. Just a touch of sourness in the finish. Body's a bit light. Not the best Magic Rock beer, but a decent example of an iconic British style.
