This Rye Golden Ale pours a gorgeous old gold colour, with a dense, ivory head. Notes of orange, caramel and black tea accompanied by a piney & citric hop character welcome you at the sip; then followed by a dry spicy, bitter finish reminiscent of white rye bread.

Can from the LCBO.
Another bland golden associated with another band. DO we need more of these? Gassy hops, slightly bready, and sweet cereals. Meh, run of the mill golden ale. It's not bad by any means, but its it what it is. Just a golden ale. Lawnmower beer.

Can thanks to HogTownHarry. Slight haze orange copper colour thin head. Pink grapefruit aroma. Flavours are fine. Not sure how you would describe Rush as a beer. This is fine. Not too impressive but grapefruit flavour throughout. some malt. some bitterness on the finish. Fine

Golden colour with very tiny particles running through it. The white head is frothy, soapy with decent stay and some foamy spots left on the glass. Grassy, fresh herbal hop nose over straw malts, hints of bananas. The taste is less sweet-like feeling with the wheat, cereal grains coming out. A little dryness in the finish. An easy-drinking Canadian Golden Ale that is a touch better than macro ones.

This ale poured a hazy golden amber colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include honey, malt, a little spice and a tiny amount of skunk. First swig was expected sweet but turned slightly bitter. Flavours of malt, straw and hops. Finish is mildly hoppy with a slight malty bitterness lingering.

Oh it's golden, and it an ale, just as advertised. And that's about it. Lots of malty hay, decent density, some bitterness on the finish. This is a solid ale, but nothing terribly interesting.

Can from the LCBO. Clear medium amber with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves tight lace. Nose is crackery malt with some light grass, caramel ans so a hint of pepper. Light fruity sweetness with a light+ grassy bitterness and light spice. Mouth is medium and creamy with average carbonation and a lightly bitter finish. I was afraid I was going to be disappointed, but this is solid. 7/3+/7/3+/14
