Bottle from the brewery. Very dark ruby under a large pillowy light tan head that leaves patchy lace. Nose is chocolate and raspberries with some wood and roast. Flavour is light+ sweet malt with balancing dark chocolate bitterness and raspberry tartness. Mouth is a touch thin with active carbonation and a light tart finish. (650ml bottle shared, ~5mo @ drinking) Pours brown-black with a big foamy pale tan head and light lace. Aroma is raspberries, toasty malt, ash. Flavour is lightly sweet dark malt, ash, spent coffee grounds, chocolate hints, light raspberry flesh, very dry finish with raspberry seed bitterness and light burnt notes. Mouthfeel is light to medium, with soft carbonation. Quite flavourful for the low ABV and allowing for some fruit fade, a summer stout of sorts but a fine winter evening starter.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a nice brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with some raspberry notes is quite enticing. Taste is a good mix of fresh raspberry notes with hints of residual sugar notes and light chocolate notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. The raspberries bring refreshing notes to the style.
A deep dark stout with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with loads of raspberry jam, light acidity, light vanilla, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with tart raspberry jam with, light acidity, nice. 8-3-7-3-14
