Bottle from courtesy of the brewery (thank you!), consumed at home whilst cooking, Tuesday 27th December 2016 Pours dark gold/light amber in colour with a white head. Soft in the mouth with a gentle hoppy buzz, it’s not mega hoppy but then I wasn’t expecting it to be a hoppy beast, it’s a good session APA though. Fruity but also with a steady maltiness, aroma is quite subtle not getting much other than quite bizarrely a wet pavement. Like it. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottle. Golden-amber with a bubbly-frothy head. Lightly citrus-fruity in both aroma and taste, although a little better stated in the former, with a very sessionable texture. Provides a small fizz to the palate.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to LKS, 14/11/16. Orange amber pour with a decent off white covering. Nose is straw, melon, light citric snap, lemon rind. Taste comprises toasted grains, mellow citric peel, straw, grass, pretty twiggy for an APA. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A lot of tweaking to be done If this brew is to be held up against the better APA’s in London.

Bottle shared in London - purchased at Offy in Whitstable. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Grainy pale malts in the nose, citric hops, hay, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with more crispy pale grains, old lemon peel, bitter hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. OK balance in the finish, with more pale husky grains, lemon peel. Pretty so so.

Bottle shared on Level 42 14/11/2016. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is semi sweet dirty grains, grainy grains, dirty orange. Flavour is composed of dirty grains, veg, pine. Chalky. Palate is semi sweet grainy, moderate carbonation, petrol. Dirty grains. Not terrible.

Bottle care of Leighton. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is sort of grainy, bready, porridge, orange peel, peach and light plastic. The taste is crisp, grainy, sweet, cereal, porridge, hay and bread with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate body. Basic stuff.
