12oz bottle. Amber peach color, pretty transparent. Respectable average head. Sweet blueberry aroma. A touch of bitterness upfront leads to a solid sweet blueberry taste. The mild amber malt tones give it a touch of depth, but overall a pretty straightforward venture. Nothing to write home about and nothing to whine about, it is what it is.

Aroma is definitely blueberry. Color is ripe apricot tinged amber. Not much head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. It’s not sweet. It is malty in taste. The finish is essentially blueberry skin. An ok drink, but not a typical ale experience. Something of an ersatz chocolate aspect is present. It’s growing on me as time passes.

Pour is a amber with a small white head. Aroma is of fresh blueberry juice and some powered sugar. Flavor is some blueberry with a mix of some bitter chocolate. Nothing overpowers though and the blueberrys could come out more in the flavor. Another fruit beer that smells better than it tastes.

Pours a dark amber/light brown with a nice frothy head. Aroma is quite pleasant and dominated by blueberry, maybe a little caramel in the background. Something about the flavor doesn’t work for me. It is strange in that the blueberry flavor is a nice addition, but the malt flavoring doesn’t seem quite right for the fruit that it goes with. That said, it is much better than I would have guessed.

Bottled. I see a wide spectrum of opinion on this, but I'm going toward the negative side. Pours an almost nonexistent head on an amberish body with a slight blue tinge. Has a light ale taste, but the blueberries taste like syrup, or more precisely, cough syrup, with a "processed" aspect. I've got other bottles, so I'll try it again, but this just didn't sit right with me. Beer should make you feel happy.
2nd Bottle. I want to try it again, since I was slightly under the weather the first time, but I see no real improvement. Blueberries, when not amped by sugar in a syrup, have a very subtle flavor, and they just piled on the juice to make the blueberry stand out at the expense of the beer taste. A better balance might improve this, but I'm supposing the general public would prefer a big fruity taste, equivalent to, say, a Zima.

Light amber colour. Very candyish, artifical aroma and palate. Cloying, one-dimensional cough syrup.

Ratebeer back online? If you say so...this ale tasted like Clearly Canadian. I suppose that could be a good thing if I were rating soda, but this was supposedly an ale. If you want an alcoholic soda water, go for it. If not, stick with a real ale.

Dark brown tint to a golden body. An intense blueberry smell that reminds you of a pint of blueberries....very fragrant. Medium-bodied with very little carbonation and a very strong blueberry taste. If you are looking for blueberries, you bought the right beer!
