Bland and boring. Light grassy hops, pale, bready malts. There really isn’t much going on here. Can from the lcbo.

This English ale poured a hazy amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel malts ,a smidgen of ripe fruit and a little tea. First swig was smooth and delicious. Flavours of malt, caramel and a little hop are predominant. Finish is medium bitter. Very nice pint!

Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige frothy head, good retention and some foamy lacing. At first, the smell was not quite good with the hops showing metallic and mild chemical notes. At the last pour though, this seems to change to a nicer fruity malt nose. The fruity malts do show in the flavours the whole time, with a nice light dry finish. Caramel undertone with hints of woods. A little too much hops for the style, but as a North American version - this is fine.

Can from the LCBO. Clear copper under a small short lived off white head. Nose is caramel, bread and some grass. Light sweet caramel with a moderate bitterness in the middle fading through the finish. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation. 7/3/7/3+/14-

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, grassy ok. In mouth, a roasted caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2015.
