Sampled at Brothers Beer Bistro tap takeover. A thin white head on a dense, unfiltered, light caramel coloured body. A punchy fresh nose featuring grapefruit and orange zest. Big juicy hops are front and center, with grapefruit, orange and a splash of lemon leading the way. A backdrop of sweet malt and a touch of pepper in the background. Slick and dense with no sign of the big booze count.

Can from the brewery.
Slightly hazy orange pour, with a huge, sticky, pillowy white head. Huge pine resin aroma, sticky, pungent resins. Light citrus, and citrus zest, fresh sticky hop cones. Oily mouth feel, soft carb. Sweet sticky malts balance the big hop bill. A well balanced old school double ipa. Great stuff, a touch heavy though.

Can: Poured a golden color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry bitter hops with some sweet wheat malt notes. Taste is a mix of sweet wheat malt with some dry floral hops with light bitter notes that are discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but too sweet for my taste buds.

On tap at Session Muskoka. Cloudy medium amber with a one finger lingering white head that fades slowly and leaves some lace. Nose has light toffee and honey and a big dose of pine and barnyard. Flavour has just a slight hint of sweetness before the medium+ bitterness kicks in. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation and a long bitter finish. Nice. 8/4/7+/4/16

A lightly hazed golden DIPA with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light sulfur notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits and sulfur notes, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex. On tap at Brother’s Beer Bistro.

Keg at Bar Hop. Clear golden/amber body with a medium off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple, orange and honey. Flavour of caramel, toffee, Parma violets and a peppery finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Very enjoyable - I loved the hop spice finish.
