Quite sweet, way heavy on the vanilla, and milk chocolate aroma, and flavour. The coffee is present but takes a back seat to the over the top, slightly artificial milk chocolate and very artificial vanilla. Very creamy mouth feel, with normal carb. The slightest hint of bitterness and a very sticky sweet finish. Not my bag.

deep dark stout with a thick brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla notes, licorice, light cinnamon. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, vanilla extract, light cinnamon, very nice. Can from LCBO.

Can: Poured alight black color stout with a large light brown foamy head with good retention. Aroma of nice floral coffee notes, with some hazelnut and chocolate notes also prevalent. Taste is a nice mix between floral coffee notes with limited bitterness, hazelnut and light black chocolate notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. I wasn’t expecting much but this is a pleasant surprise.

Pours a dark brown colour with a big frothy mocha-coloured head, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Big aromas of soft vanilla over chocolate that comes out eventually and hints of roasted malts in the background. The coffee comes out a little more in the taste, but mostly blended with the roasted malts in the finish. The vanilla is quite light here as well. Hints of dark fruits. Wet mouthfeel with a slight tart from the coffee particles. Goes down very well, with a sweet vanilla nose, but a more coffee-bitter flavour. A flavoured stout you can have many.

Can from the LCBO. Dark brown pour with a foamy beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, toffee and vanilla. Light sweet opening with mildly bitter middle and finish. Vanilla is more prominent than in the nose but everything is quite subdued. Mouth is short of medium with soft carbonation. Overall, quite subdued for a stout.
