The hop that started the revolution. First used in 80's America, its big citrus hits changed the global palate forever. Now it's our turn. Cascade brings a fountain of pithy orange and grapefruit that deluges the tongue with a lengthy hop bitterness.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 April 2017) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel and resin. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, fresh floral hops and a generous citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a generous hop character. Nice one.

Cask at PoW Farnborough. Sweet floral nectar aroma. Gold. Slightly opaque. Decent white head. Medium bitter with a sweeter finish. Citrus: grapefruit and oranges, with hops. Light bodied. Slick. Carbonation is barely noticeable. Dry finish. Pretty enjoyable.
