(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 23 Nov 2016) Reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, orange peel and chocolate. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange peel, chocolate (with orange) and a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and balanced mixture of caramel, chocolate and orange. Quite nice.

Cask at CBC Clerko, 24/11/16. Rich copper hues topped with a white cap. Nose is bitter orange, sweet malt, biscuit, perfumed notes. Taste comprises light bread, strong and slightly over whelming orange, biscuit, faint toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... gets the orange message across but a little 1D and lacking balance.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 23rd November 2016. Deep copper with disappearing off-white foam and no lacing. Zesty orange peel, chocolate and caramel aroma. Luscious chocolate and orange peel in-mouth. Fruity finish with orange peel, Cointreau and bitter chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. Rated as a novelty ale.

Cask at craft beer Co Clerkenwell, for the tap takeover. A mid amber /nut brown coloured pour with a lasting halo of beige head. Aroma is slightly stale toasted bread and fake zesty orange, little woody notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty toasted malts, tangy orange, orange calpol, tangy orange finish. Palate is semi sweet malts moderate cask condition and a slightly tangy grainy finish. Not bad.

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear deep gold with a fine, foamy white head. The nose has zesty orange, citrus peel. Light to medium sweet flavour with nips of pine, oily citrus peel, more orange zest. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with bitter citrus peel, more oily bites, orange. So so overall.

Cask at Craft Clerko. It pours clear brown with a beige head. The aroma is pretty sweet, orange cream, candy, sugary, toasty grain, toffee and brown bread. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, orange peel, brown bread, resin, leather, toffee, spice and orange cream with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Orange comes across a touch artificial. Not bad.
