Muskoka has been crafting a delicious cream ale since the mid 1990’s, so we were excited to work with them to create this unique cream ale with South American coffee beans. Brewed with flaked corn and a touch of Ontario honey, the balanced malt sweetness allows the bright floral coffee flavours to shine. It’s a perfectly balanced coffee beer that’s a flavour expedition!

Third can of the night (called Lifts All Boats) from the Welly Rising Tide Collaboration Mix Pack. Pours a cleaner golden-amber colour with a big frothy off-white cap, good stay and some dirty lacing patches. Mild malt base giving a little sweetness with the light coffee bitterness with hops. Fruity tasting malt with hints of coffee. Not a bad beer, but not my favourite of the pack.

This ale poured a hazy, amber colour with a creamy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include coffee, nuts and malt. First swig was smooth with flavours of light toffee, malt and minimal coffee. Finish is malty but light.
