Tasting at Ash's, crowler
Black colour, the head is large but short lived. The aroma is a nice perfume, vanilla and talc. Medium body strength, sweet indeed, with chocolate flavour, sweet cocoa, and finally the coconut is also evident.
Good.

32oz at Ash's shared with Alex and Phill. Appearance: deep brown with a beige head. Aroma: lots of cocoa, vanilla and coconut. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet. Overall: good one.
A dark stout with a thin creamy brown head. In aroma, sweet caramel chocolate malt with dark fruits, light chalky notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, light chalk, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Can, 950 ml, purchased from Brasserie du Bas-Canada May 6, 2020; eye: licorice, opaque, no effervescence, sheet of brown head, light lacing; nose: coconut, malt, vanilla, chocolate; mouth: coconut, malt, vanilla, chocolate, chocolate milk, finale in coconut with light presence of vanilla, medium body, mildly sweet, creamy texture; overall: very good

Canette, 950 ml, achetée à la Brasserie du Bas-Canada le 6 mai 2020, savourée le 23 mai 2020; œil : réglisse, opaque, pas d’effervescence, couverture de mousse brune, légère dentelle; nez : noix de coco, malt, vanille, chocolat; bouche : noix de coco, malt, vanille, chocolat, lait au chocolat, finale en noix de coco avec légère présence de vanille, corps moyen, moyennement sucrée, texture crémeuse; en résumé : très bon

Crowler: Poured a pit-black color ale with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with some vanilla and coconut is quite intense. Taste is a good mix of huge chocolate notes with some residual sugar notes, some coconut notes and light vanilla. Body is full with nice creamy texture and with good carbonation. Liquid coconut fudge with just enough attenuation to avoid being overly sweet.
