A go-to, easy drinking, any occasion blonde ale. We started by creating this tasty blonde ale using wheat for it’s lemony flavour notes and body and added Citra, Centennial and Amarillo hops. We took it to a whole new level by adding the zest of seasonal citrus.
The result, a remarkably refreshing and balanced blonde ale.

Can: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a nice pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy notes with subtle floral undertones. Taste is also mostly dominated by citrusy notes with light undertones and some cereal notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Simple and easy to drink but enjoyable enough for the style.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a glossy semi-transparent yellow to light orange color. Rimmed lace slides adequately.
The aroma starts with a sweet citrus pulpiness and blends a decent bready malt backbone.
The flavor blends the malts with the hops decently. Some grassy hops open it up a bit. Grassy to citrus to malty aftertaste with a crisp hoppy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation yields fine.
Overall, decent blonde ale, nothing really off, if anything, I’ll say it’s clean and there’s nothing really off flavored about it.

Can. Gold with a slight haze and a smallish white head. Aroma of hay and various citrus fruits - grapefruit, lime, lemon flowers and zest. Fuller bodied than you might expect, with lowish carbonation. Sweet with some dough and hay, lot of citrus. As it warms a little the sweetness becomes a little candied and a bit much. Dryish and moderately bitter at the end with some white pepper.

This ale poured a slightly cloudy, yellow colour with a quick living, white head. Scents include clementines, mineral water and dough. First swig was smooth with minimal carbonation. Flavours of citrus hops, light malt and a little spice most prominent. Finish is slightly orange flavoured with a light bitterness. Not bad at all...

On tap at WVRST - part of a tasting set. It was a cloudy milky honey gold, not a good looking brew - maybe the end of the keg? I enjoyed the fruity wheat and hop aroma. It’s med-light bodied with a spicy wheat and citrusy hop flavor. Good but it looks too milky.

Second brew from these brewers, with zest of orange and lemon. Hops written on label are Centennial, Citra and Aramillo. Smells quite fresh, like it, at first pour. Very pale golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and foamy lacing (slightly unfiltered). Aromas of nice citrus blends over the grass. After such a nice nose, the taste falls a little short. Kind of a thin mouthfeel with not much taste to it. Very mild hops with some watery malts in the finish. Feels like a real light beer with good hops, which would be fine if this was under 4% ABV. Lacking flavours for a 4.7% ABV.
