500 ml bottle. Flavor shows a barley wine base. Raisins, fig, toffee. A sweet bourbon hint followed by a rye in the finish. Alcohol is hidden until it warms. However, the rum shows as it warms. Quite a nicely blended brew. The three barrel blend is quite balanced.

Bottle pour from share with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Inky black pour with nice viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is balanced bourbon, rye, oak, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is strong roasted malt, bourbon, rye, oak, mild rum, dark fruits. Smooth texture, full body, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nice complexity and balance.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some caramelized malt notes, some vanilla notes, bourbon and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some caramelized malt notes with some vanilla notes, some bourbon and rye barrel notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full and oily for style and good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Well brewed stout/barleywine mix.

5oz pour at the brewery, cola brown, sort of flat, light legs, no head. Nose has cola and caramel, booze and birch and sarsaparilla, heavy barrel, licorice. Flavor leads with booze, licorice, Kahlua, plenty of raisinette, the barleywine is there because you get a ton of dried fruits, rum soaked dates, cocoa. Finishes very full bodied, boozy and oily.
