(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 24 Nov 2017) Hazy reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, crisp-bread, toast and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of toast, orange peel, caramel and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and refreshing bitter. Quite nice.

Bottle at Craft Islington Share - thanks to Mr Osprey. It pours hazy amber with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, musty, resin, wood, damp leaves and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, resin, spice, leather, wood, peppery spice, tannin and tea leaves with a drying, sort of grainy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty underwhelming stuff.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Osprey. Pours murky like dishwater. Scattered aroma, some old citrus fruits, pale grains. Light sweet flavour with bitter flinty minerality, grass, plastic. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Astringent finish, with more grass and plastic, pale grains. Not the best.
