Moon Rocks is a mixed-fermentation farmhouse ale brewed with wheat and spelt aged in oak barrels.

Admin Note: This is the first iteration of Moon Rocks that was aged in oak barrels, draft only. Later versions were brewed in stainless steel tanks and bottled.

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017 - Blue Session
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tart, funk and citrus. Taste is light sweet and light sour with a long dry, tart, yeasty and citrus finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - gold yellow coloured pour with a white head. Fruity and funky with some floral herbal hoppy backing, yeast, citrc fruity spice, wooden oak notes, light body, tart fruity finale.

Tap. Pours clear pale golden, medium white head, decent lacing. Aroma is grass and lemon, hints of oak, earthy. Flavor is light plus tart, citric, lemons, field grass. Light body, a bit watery. Too citric...

Draft at Harbor Bar. Unclear golden-orange, foamy white head. Tart and a little funky, light oak. Quite tasty. More tart than I’d have guessed. Really nice.

Draught. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Watery palate.

MBCC. Slightly hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, lemon and wood. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, hop, spices, lemon, little sweet, little dry with notes of phenols.
