Bottle shared at THT. Almost black with small dark beige head. Green apples, nail polish remover, cognac, caramel, quite toasty, dark chocolate, vanilla, some coffee, booze. Over medium sweet and bitter. Almost full bodied with low carbonation and quite some booze. Smells quite bad but when sipping it’s not terrible. Still not what I would expect from Kees.

6 3 8 3 15 Bottle shared at TH winterbier T February (The cat edition). Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of alcohol, nail polish remover, oak, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

330 ml. bottle @ Beerlovers Bar. Black, non-lasting mocha head. Nose is overly alcoholic plastic harsh paint, glue, bad pure alcohol,..; Taste is massive soy sauce, umami, plastic mixed with harsh poorly BA paint, glue, harsh alcoholic, burned roast, hard to drink, total mess & just poorly done in my opinion. Kees remains hit or miss for me but this is just not well-done, total harsh plastic, paint & nail polish tasting umami mess. Not easy to drink or all that pleasant.

Bottle at the bow bar. Pours black, nose is coconut, chocolate, leather, roasted, taste is sweet chocolate, bourbon, roasted, caramel, boozy.

Bottle. Pours black, nearly no head, but you can create one with an effort in the pour. It doesn't last long tho. Scent immediatly gives the beer away - this is alcohol heat. Taste is likewise. A good Impy underneath, some bourbon, but (fusel?) alcohol takes home most of the flavor and aroma here. Not balanced at all, tho not a bad drink on it's own.

Pitch black pour with a medium height tan head that settles into a thin velvety blanket. Notes of roasted coffee beans, cocoa, chocolate, bitter cherries, burnt caramel, oak, vanilla, some smoke, quite a bit of wood. Nice balance between roasty bitter and caramel sweet, though the fruit bitterness is a bit too sharp. Light oak sourness in the background.
