Bottle from the lcbo. Hazy orsnge/yellow pour, with a large but very quickly dissipating head. Funky, woody aroma, with some lactose and wet hay. Light citrus, wet grass, but lots of barrel, earthy funk. Mouth feel is thin, carb is almost flat. Finish is tart, and funky, with strong earth tones, and light grass.

Slight hazed golden colour with a fizzy white head that does not stay too long and lacing is minimal. Brett nose for sure - earthy and vinegary. Hints of pear. The taste is interesting with the Bretty notes and the Saison touch. Gets hazier. Apple cider vinegar flavours and mild tartiness in the finish. Kind of tired of the whole Brett thing, and was really wishing for a real Saison. Or at least more of the Saison style in this one. Still, very well-brewed.

La délicatesse des accents fermiers et sauvages nous sert d’entrée a un olfactif aux notes de foin, de fleurs des champs et de petit fruits sauvages et surettes. Liquide doré et très légèrement voilé, couronné d’une mousse rocailleuse peu persistante. Pétillante à l’entrée de bouche, elle nous dévoile assez rapidement son coté fermier sous des notes bien acidulées au fruité sauvage bien établi. Le coté acidulé des levures domine largement la palette et y retrouve que très peu d’éléments de saison sauf un très léger poivre. Une bière fortement acidulée mais peu complexe.
