Pours black, no real head. Smell is roasty, some peppers. Taste is full, roasted, bit dry, very epper forward. Not to hot, but loads of peppery taste. Not my thing.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Black with short lasting brown head. Strong cinnamon, sweet spicy cake my mum used to make, speculaas, roast, lime peel, cardamom, gingerbread, some roasted chilies, soft vanilla and cocoa. Quite sweet with cinnamon bitterness. Full bodied with slick feel and just medium chili heat and some think bubbly carbonation. Dry spicy finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is roast and dark chocolate spice. Thick body, chewy peppers spice, cocoa, boozy finish, very nice.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma has lots of chocolate with a bit less peppers and even less cinnamon. Some lighter vanilla notes with some alcohol spice as well. Hints of roast. Pours black with a medium small, thick, dark mocha head that exhibits decent retention as it recedes. No lacing and long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet, but the moderate cinnamon notes cut that a bit and adds some bitterness. Lots of chocolate with some lighter pepper flavors and spice; pepper flavors are lighter than in the aroma. Some light roast and fairly bitter. Light alcohol spice. Vanilla is fairly light. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium low carbonation. Slightly oily with a fairly creamy mouthfeel. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice adjunct stout even though the beer includes cinnamon. I find the peppers to not be overwhelmingly spicy and they help cut the sweetness of the beer. Nice chocolate notes.
