500ml can in a parallel tasting with a Lidl (Poland) Argus Premium Lager: this came second in all aspects. Tasted as if there was lemonade within the brew, semi-sweet and weak in flavour and aroma. Not impressed: madness.

50cl can from B&M, Reading. A pale straw colour with a billowing white head; aroma of stale grains and damp cardboard; sweet cereal grain body; and a sticky finish. Just putting "craft" on the label doesn’t make a good lager.

Bottle at level 42. It pours clear very pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, paper, white bread and dull spice. The taste is crisp, muted bitterness, paper, grass, soda water and buttered white bread with a short finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Basic.
