This new beer is a lighter version of our Oude Questche Tilquin à l'ancienne. Same recipe as the Oude Questche Tilquin à l'ancienne with 250 gr fresh plums per liter, but lighter in alcohol, due to the use of a blend of 50% of Meerts and 50% of 1 and 2 years old lambics.

Drucken på fat på Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Ljusrosa disig vätska. Pigg syra, lätt kropp, frisk och stallfunkig med en lite syrlig plommonsmak. Stramt grapesurt och utan att syran blir acetisk. Riktigt fina smaker!

Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy purple/golden, small head. Tart nose with some prunes. Citric acid and prunes. Not much brett, more citricity and prunes. Low bitterness. Unusual lack of complexity for a Tilquin.

A hazed rosey Gueuze with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet tart fruits, light mineral notes, light Epsom salts, light Brett, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon pulp, light plums, light Brett, light acidity, very nice and complex. On tap at L'autre oeil.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a glowing, hazy neon pink with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Plum forward nose with light gooseberry, oak & faint passionfruit notes. Tart palate with lingering plum and passionfruit. Acidity is there but kept in check fairly well. Great an a sultry night.
