Bottle 500ml. @ [ Chriso’s pre- Xmas Tasting 2015 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Humleland Den Røde Nisse ].Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, hoppy, citrus - grapefruit, light pine. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151206] 7-3-8-3-15

50cl bottle from a trade with fonefan. Klares dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit großen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, rotes malz, Pinien und Gewürze. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, rote Früchte, Pinien, harzig, würzig, hohe Karbonisation.

ChrisO Tasting. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and finely crisp. Light malts but with a decent amount of creamy sweetness. Good piney hops, mild resin. Hop spice and orange peel. Trace of tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Nice IPA.

Bottle at Chriso’s Xmas Tasting 2015. It pours hazy deep red-amber with a small beige head. The nose is sweet, oily, toffee, brown bread, pine, fruit cake, orange peel and glace cherry. The taste is bitter, spicy, earthy, wood, leather, grapefruit peel, dry grass and brown bread with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit too dry and spicy if anything. Not bad overall.

Bottle split at Chriso pre Xmas tasting, 06/12/15. Rich amber topped with a decent beige swirl. Nose is earthy hop, candied fruit peel, straw, juicy citrics, light pine dusting. Taste comprises red grapefruit, spice, mandarin, apricot jam, toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with juicy hop bitterness. Decent IPA.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas/post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Pours unclear ruby-gold with a frothy white. The aroma is stuffed with dank hops, tangerine, pine, orange, faint caramel. Medium sweet flavor with hints of off plastic, earth, toasted grass, ripening orange. Medium to full boded with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with some oily pine, orange, bread. Not bad.

Draught @ Fairbar, Aarhus. Pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, sweet fruity hops, strawberry, light pine. Flavor is rather bitter, malty, caramel, grass, fruit, citrus, pine. Medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 051115

Draft. A hazy red beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, berries, bisquits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of bisquits, malt, caramel, berries, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
