Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and a little soft, mildly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, sweetish coffee and a little cream. Mild bubblegum esters and very mild spice. Light dry finish. Pretty drinkable, if a touch estery.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, dark bread, a touch of blueberries and chocolate. Malty, roasted, slightly fruity taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, blueberries, dark fruit and a mild roasty bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made imperial stout, with a slightly fruity character. Very nice.
